Water fund

A question was posed to Allah’s Messenger (saw): “Which charity is best?” He [saw] answered, “(By) supplying water.” [Abu Dawud]

Contributions to the Safe Water Fund on a regular basis will enable our teams to address the global shortage of safe water. You might be building a rainwater harvesting system in a community, setting up a water filtration plant for a village, or digging a well for a school. The Safe Water Fund alters lives in the following ways, to name just a few:

•  There is a lower chance of illness due to tainted water, resulting in healthier and more cohesive families overall.
• Kids, particularly girls, can spend more time in school by not having to walk long distances to fetch water.
• Adults who are ill or take care of sick children are less likely to lose their jobs.
• Healthier livestock contributes to the prosperity of livelihoods.
•  Local agriculture benefits from access to clean water, which lowers food insecurity.
